IT Operations is most critical piece in every organization. Without appropriate mindset, tools and policy it's a nightmare for any organization to run there business smoothly. Here the most important thing to understand about requirement and business for IT person.
Requirement: From an IT Operations perspective there are some common points ,
- Maintenance
- Configuration
- Testing
- Construction
- Design Engineering
Some more are tools, funds, hardware etc. In my opinion it's just standard defined based upon best management perspective, I feel the most important point should be is to make sure that everyone who is participating in running the business(IT Operations) should have the correct mindset, that each and everyone is not working towards there KRA only. Every individual is equally responsible for running the business starting from support executive to CTO.
This is the responsibility of management to make IT support quickly and easily reachable to all the business person's. To achieve the goal we should evolve more innovation, automation and run step ahead with the help of future ready technology.
